Kelly Ann Smith, LCSW, RYT-500, Founder and Clinical Director

Hello, my name is Kelly Ann Smith (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in NJ for 15 yrs. I am also a certified 500 hr yoga teacher and Adjunct Professor. I have worked in a variety of settings with both individuals and adolescents. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from NYU and Master's degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. I have a passion for teaching and I enjoy facilitating presentations, webinars and teaching college courses where I can help others learn and grow.
My approach to therapy is cognitive and mindfulness based as well as trauma-informed. I have worked in a variety of settings, such as in-home, hospital-based and out-patient, utilizing various techniques and approaches such as traditional psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused therapy and empowerment approaches.
My personal journey led me to the practice of yoga and meditation where I developed an interest in incorporating these aspects of healing into my practice and approach to helping others heal as well. As a result, I wanted to create a space for clients where they have the opportunity to engage in both mind and movement strategies if they choose.

I strive to help clients feel safe and to find strategies that work for them, not only for managing stress and anxiety, but also for personal growth.
